Poster presentations are for posters selected through the abstract submission process. Posters will be presented digitally through ICALCom website and displayed in the venue’s hallway throughout the conference.
Specifications for Poster Presentation
- Presenters who opt to present a poster need to create a poster file and present digitally but are not required to print it. Posters will be printed by the conference organizer in a 60cmX160cm X-banner in a vertical layout. Prepare your digital poster in such a way that it will fit the above mentioned size, consider using this template.
- Be sure to include the abstract title, author and coauthor names, and the institution(s) where research is underway, purpose (or objectives or introduction), methods, results or findings, discussion, conclusions, and acknowledgements (if necessary).
- Include your email address or other lines of communication for attendees who desire further information.
- For the digital presentation, create a video of your poster with your explanation as an audio for up to 12-15 minutes.
- Upload the video by August 31, 2024 to our website. The video will be available for viewing until September 7, 2025.
- You are not required to attend the conference in person, but if you do, please indicate it in the registration form.
Tips for Poster Preparation
- Posters should stimulate discussion, not give a long presentation. Therefore, keep text to a minimum, emphasize graphics, and make sure every item included in your poster is necessary.

- Goal: 20% text, 40% graphics, 40% space.
- Make sure ideas flow logically from one section to the next.
- Use charts and graphs to illustrate data (avoid large tables of raw data).
- Use high resolution photographs (web images often will not work).
- Do not use all capital letters.
- Be consistent.

- Keep consistent margins.
- Keep line spacing consistent.
- Keep the color, style, and thickness of borders the same.
- Keep shading consistent.
- Pick no more than 2–3 fonts.
- Pick no more than 2–3 colors.
- Test readability

- The text and the illustrations should be readable from a distance of 2 meters
