Biography

Dr. Af’Idatul Husniyah, M.Sc., is a dedicated lecturer at Politeknik Negeri Malang (Polinema), specializing in Applied English within the Department of English. She has been a faculty member since March 2018, contributing significantly to the development of English language education in vocational settings.

Dr. Husniyah earned her Master of Science degree from The University of Edinburgh, bringing an international perspective to her teaching and research. Her academic interests encompass second language teaching and learning, curriculum development, e-learning, and the integration of technology in education. She has authored over a dozen publications, including studies on demotivational factors in Indonesian EFL classrooms and the use of Instagram as a mobile learning tool in language classrooms. Her work has been widely cited, reflecting her influence in the field of language education.

Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Husniyah is actively involved in research initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of English language instruction in Indonesia. Her contributions continue to shape the landscape of vocational education, ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary language skills to succeed in a globalized world.
