Biography

Eka Listianing Rahayu, S.Pd., M.App.Ling., currently pursuing a PhD in Education with a focus on Language, Literacy, and Technology at Washington State University, is a dedicated lecturer and researcher at Politeknik Negeri Malang (Polinema), East Java, Indonesia. She is a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Doctoral Degree Program scholarship for the 2024 cohort, which facilitated her doctoral studies in the United States.

Her academic interests encompass English language teaching (ELT), project-based learning (PBL), and the integration of technology in education. Dr. Rahayu has co-authored several publications, including studies on using travel vlogs as a project-based learning tool to enhance speaking skills among tourism industry students, and developing an English guidebook with QR codes for tourist guides.

In addition to her research endeavors, Dr. Rahayu actively participates in academic conferences and seminars, contributing to the advancement of language education. Her work reflects a commitment to improving English proficiency and pedagogical practices in Indonesia’s vocational education sector.
