Biography
Hayo Reinders is a distinguished scholar in the field of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and Applied Linguistics. He currently holds positions as a TESOL Professor and Director of Research at Anaheim University in the United States and as a Professor of Applied Linguistics at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Thailand. Dr. Reinders earned his Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Auckland in 2005. His research interests are primarily centered on educational technology, learner autonomy, and out-of-class learning, which are reflected in his extensive publication record of over 25 books and 150 articles.
Dr. Reinders is also the founder of the Institute for Teacher Leadership, an organization dedicated to empowering teachers and learners with essential research and leadership skills. In addition, he serves as the editor of the journal *Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching*. His recent publications include works on teaching methodologies, digital games, and second language acquisition. His contributions to the field have significantly impacted how language education integrates technology and promotes autonomous learning outside traditional classroom settings.
